The Nintendo DSI Console is the latest gaming console to come from Nintendo. This is the upgrade the the massively popular Nintendo DS, rather than a complete overhall.

The new DSI Nintendo Console is slightly thinner than the previous DS, coming in at around 12% (or 2.6mm) thinner. However, even though the dsi is thinner, it actually has a larger screen, at 3.25inch.
Other notable differences include the addition of 2 cameras - 1 on the internal hinge and one on the outside; a web browser; and the ability to play audio files.

The main USB (that’s unique selling proposition for us non-marketing types) of the DSI Console is the ability of the nintendo dsi console to buy games and content from the online DSi Shop. You will be able to use Nintendo Points (previously called Wii Points) to purchase these. We have been told that each DSi that accesses the DSi Shop prior to March 2010 will receive 1,000 Nintendo Points, some DSiWare will also be free - rock on!
