Ever wondered what the ‘i’ in Nintendo DSi stands for. WEll, we did, so we went and found out. Nintendo have said that it has two references:

1 - It is symbolic for the ‘I’, that is you. The DSi is your own personal system, and as such refers to you in its name
2 - The two cameras on the DSi are like it’s eyesm and this is the other reference.

So, there you have it. Quite strange, but that’s why it has an ‘i’
