UPDATE: Official Nintendo DSi release date announced

Everyone is wondering when will the new Nintendo DSI Console be launched in the UK? The DSI Console has already been released in Japan and has been selling like hotcakes since launch. Nintendo have been quite tight-lipped as regards when the UK release date of the dsi console will be, but have said that it will be before the USA. We have also heard reports that the DSI Console will be released in the US around March, so it means we should have it definitely in the first quarter of this year (2009).
We are sure that as normally happens with console releases, you will be able to pre-order the dsi console before it actually goes on sale, and we will let you know where the best deals are.

    I got told the US were getting it in like… summer! If they’re getting it in march, then hopefully we should be getting it SOOON! aaaaaaaaaaah! PRESSURE!!!

    I’ve been saving up for a DSi since crimbo and I almost have enough! £85!!! £15 more… it is £100 isn’t it? I am sooo looking forward to it!

    I have been browsing around on the web and I’ve seen a lot of sites saying the US is getting it on April 4… anyone know anything about the European date?

    Well, information is scarce at the moment, with most of it being unconfirmed rumours. Price wise, the dsi will most like be closer to £120, and date wise, we are also looking closer to the middle of the year, unfortunately
