UPDATE: Official Nintendo DSi release date announced
Another Day, another update regarding the UK DSI release date. A few days ago we heard that some Australian Retailers were gearing up for a June DSI Release. Now we have heard that there is a European online store called Intertoys, that have not only listed the DSI Console, but put the arrival date as well. And what date do they have…the 3rd April. So it seems that the original assumptions on the release date being April may have been correct. Below you can see a screenshot of the listing on Intertoys.
You can see that they put the release date as 03-04. So, now we are really confused, as it seems different retailers are receiving different information. Also interesting is the listing price of the dsi. Intertoys have it as 169 EUR, which works out to be roughly £150. This is quite a bit higher than we initially thought, as our estimates were at £120. This could just be a ‘test’ price though…we hope.
In other News:
Website Kotaku.com have reports that Nintendo have started sending out promo dsi kits to magazines and review websites. One of these is a mexican magazine site that has taken some pictures of the DSI box and manual, which will be the same one that we receive in the UK. You can see some of these images below:
